Jonathan Saipe - Managing Director

After qualifying in Psychology from University College London, Jonathan initially worked as a Technical Project Manager with IBM and National Westminster Bank on a joint venture in the mid-90's.

He was subsequently employed as Internet Development Director of SMI Group - the technology driven pan-European Advertising Agency. At SMI Group, he consulted in online marketing and development strategy for clients such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM and Oracle.

Following SMI Group's purchase by the global ad agency network Publicis in '96, Jonathan was a key founder of the their interactive offering (known as Publicis Technology) before moving on to found FIFO in June '99.

Jonathan is also the founder and principle consultant of Emarketeers specialists in internet marketing and technology training courses and consulting.

Jaki Grosvenor - Creative Director

Jaki has been involved in new media design in the UK for over 11 years and has gained a large amount of experience in a broad range of design disciplines - from corporate design through to publishing and multimedia.

She originally worked as an Art Director for Dorling Kindersley during their 'multimedia heyday'. Following this, she joined Publicis Technology as Interactive Creative Director of their nascent interactive department and has worked with many blue-chip clients and SMEs in a wide variety of sectors.

Peter Bowyer - Technical Lead

Peter is FIFO's lead developer and deals with the technical implementation of all web projects. He originally trained in physics, which developed the strong analytical skills used to successfully scope each project.

With over 9 years experience developing for the web, Peter has an extensive knowledge of PHP5, MySQL, Object Oriented Programming, Rapid prototyping, Linux administration, Apache server configuration, Javascript, AJAX and Social Networking. His areas of special interest are secure programming and image manipulation.

Peter is active in the open source community and has contributed to PEAR, the PHP Extension and Application Repository, and is involved in the Kohana, Symfony and MODx projects.
