Following an initial pitch, Opus Energy, an award-winning independent supplier of gas and electricity, appointed FIFO to rebrand and redesign the user interface of its energy trading software called Opus Extra.
FIFO approached the design of software interface by carrying out a business process scoping workshop with Opus Energy's product and development team.
An approachable, easy-to-use conceptual design and new logo was created to appeal to the core target market, namely electricity brokers and 3rd party intermediaries looking to buy energy.
Without any prior knowledge of a complicated electricity online purchasing product, FIFO were able to interpret our vision for a simplified front-end, online interface, without losing any of the functionality.
