Aspelle: Case Study
Context and briefAspelle - an Anglo-American company - develops software allowing users secure and manageable browser-based remote access to their desktops. Aspelle required treatment to their original 'techie' brand and logotype which was in need of revisiting and substantiating. There was also an immediate need to cost-effectively address the redesign and production of all of their online and offline marketing collateral to qualify the maturity of the company.
ResultsFrom a brand perspective, FIFO addressed the logo through the creation of a 'lasso' effect indicating a pin-point secure hold on the user's remote files. The design of a budget-friendly, emotive and benefit-led 'photo montage' used on all digital and print collateral negated the old techie brand whilst adding warmth and customer focussed aspirations to a new brand. The revised brand was carried throughout the new collateral including: a marketing website, CD ROM, support extranet, packaging, press/banner ads and icon library. Finally, a cost-effective digital template was created for items such as datasheets, press releases and case studies creating a family of brand consistent high quality collateral.
