Context and briefPilat Media are a global supplier of broadcast management software and consultancy within the niche broadcasting sector. Their clients include the likes of BSkyB, Discovery, Playboy and Fox. In light of a market where the product differentiation gap is reducing, Pilat's marketing strategy required a focus on its maturity and global nature. There was therefore an immediate requirement to redesign the corporate website, brochure, annual report and other sales collateral as well as a need to redesign their online software GUI (graphical user interface) in order to maintain a competitive edge.
ResultsPilat Media's new design strategy focussed on "people behind the product" - in turn highlighting Pilat Media's maturity in a competitive product-led marketplace. The website was architected in favour of business and technology target audiences where 'related links' allowed easy cross-referencing. The integration of Websidestory's Hitbox web analytics was utilised to effectively track web usage in line with marketing activity. The brochure and annual report design married with the website in order to maintain online and offline brand consistency.
